Vladimir Svetlov
Biography
Vladimir Svetlov (1973) is a poet, photographer, and performer. His poetry has been translated into Latvian, English, German, and Italian. He is one of the participants of multimedia poetry project Orbita – a creative group of Russian poets and artists, whose works create dialogue among various genres (literature, music, video, photography, VJ, web, etc.) and cultures. Orbita has organized poetry-video and multi-media art festivals Word in Motion (in Latvia in 2001, 2003, 2007, 2009 and 2011). Orbita also strives to seek new ways of print publishing and book design. His first book of poems in Russian and Latvian was published in 2014 alongside with his photographs.
