Biography

Viesturs Ķerus (1984) is an ornithologist and a writer, the Chairman of the Board of the Latvian Ornithological Society. In 2019 his first book in children's literature Meža meitene Maija [Maija and the Forest] was published by liels un mazs and won the Annual Latvian Literature Award 2020.
