Jurģis Liepnieks

Jurģis Liepnieks is a political commentator and public figure in Latvia. Having studied Ancient
Greek and Latin Languages and Philosophy, he has spent most of his life working as a political
strategist and public relations adviser, having advised several Latvian PMs. 

His first crime novel, Death is Not the End, was co-written with the writer and psychotherapist
Nils Sakss and published in 2014. 

His second novel My Poor Pirate published in 2022. was a number 1. bestseller in Latvia and received a large number of highly positive reviews from readers across social media.
