Biography

Inguna Ula Cepīte (1960) grew up in the family of noted Latvian choir conductors Ausma Derkēvica and Imants Cepītis. Since 1991 she has been the director of the publishing house Pētergailis, which she has developed into one of the leading publishers of textbooks and original Latvian literature in Latvia. Ulsiks is her first booklength work of prose for adults.
