Ilze Jansone

Ilze Jansone, born in 1982, is a Latvian writer and theologian. Jansone graduated from the University of Latvia with the doctoral degree in Theology and is a leading researcher at the Department of Theology at the University of Latvia. She has worked for Atēna and Dienas Grāmata publishing houses. She has published various articles on religious subjects and contemporary literature. Since 2013, she participates in the publishing of the collection of research articles on gender studies and culture Dzimtes konstruēšana [The Constructing of Gender], and together with Pauls Daija, and D. Hanovs, has compiled a collection of articles Nation's Chronicles (2014).
