Hannes Korjus

Hannes Korjus (b.1965) lives in Riga. He graduated from the faculty of Economics at the All Soviet-Union Institute of Cinematography in 1989, with a degree in the economy of cinema and television. From 2000 to 2005, he completed an academic course at the Riga Higher Institute of Religious Sciences, affiliated with the Pontifical Lateran University (RARZI). Korjus translates prose and short stories from Latvian and Russian in to Estonian, and has authored numerous publications and three books: "Ludzas Igauņi (Zemes Dieva Tauta)" published by Lauku Avize in 2017, "MEKLĒJOT LATVIJĀ IGAUŅUS/ LÄTIMAAL EESTLASI OTIMAS" published in Estonia in 2011 by Kadmirell and "Ar, par katoļiem" (2024), published by Latgales Kultūras centra izdevniecība.
